Room mailbox and replies

Dear All,

I really hope that you can help me on this!

We have set up some room mailboxes on our Exchange 2007 server (Outlook 2010 currently).
They are working well.
For some of them we have specified permissions so that only a certain group of users can book them.
For example, I cannot book directly this room because I am not one of its admins. if I receive a meeting request, to take place in this room, I can accept/decline it, but the issue is, I receive a non-delivery notification because I am not allowed to send messages to this room.
I have set up delegates, configured notifications to be sent to the delegates only, but this did not help.
