Unknown error opening email in public folder

Could really use some help.

Info:

1. SBS 2003 (latest updates) on new Dell server. Windows XP latest

updates. Outlook 2003 latest updates.

2. Copied mailstores from old server (no problems appeared initially)

3. 2 weeks later started getting error "unknown error" trying to open

some emails. There doesn't seem to be any connection to the messages.

Some are old and some are new and they are in different folders.

I ran eseutil and isinet utilties which found errors, then corrected and

retested with no errors indicated. Remounted Public store and had the

same problems. Can't move, delete or export problems messages.

I exported the Public store to a PST on the old server - no errors.

Created a new Public folder and reimported the message but still having

the same problem.

What the heck is "unknown error".

Did the new server and the old have the same name? Normally, in an Exchange

environment, one would do what you did. You might want to post this

question to an SBS newsgroup because it does some things differently.

Have you ever seen an "Unknown Error" message. Once it occurs I can no

longer move, copy or delete the message. I also can't export the folder.
