rebuild .nk2 file

I have had to rebuild my PC (windows 8.1 running Outlook 2003). The backup program did not save the old .NK2 file - the new installation is working fine, but all the old nicknames have been lost. Is there any way automatically to repopulate this from my Sent Items mailbox, and/or from the Inbox? I don't fancy manually entering all the addresses to a draft (as suggested in the forum) - many of the addresses are not in the Contacts list.
