How to view the URL for a hyperlink?

When I hover over a hyperlink on an Outlook message, I can see the URL it will send me to. When I right-click on the URL, my choice includes "Copy hyperlink", but it only copies the text of the hyperlink.

Sometimes I get some really official-looking email from PayPal or Ebay, but it has a wonky URL, and I am highly suspicious of it, and would like to check out the actual URL before clicking on the link. Any way to do that?

Maybe I need to see the message's source, not just the header source? I don't see an option to do that, either.

Thanks,

copy hyperlink should copy the underlying link... where are you pasting it? you need to paste as plain text in outlook or word.

otherwise, the link should be in the screen tip that pops up or in the status bar, and of course in the source code.
