Receiving a Meeting Declined notice for a recurring meeting

When individuals decline one in a series of recurring meetings, why doesn't the notice I receive tell me which specific date is declined?

"when" in the decline notice includes the entire series e.g. "Occurs the third Monday of every 1 month effective 12/19/2016 until 11/20/2017 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time." and
"subject" has the meeting title but no specific date "Declined: Data Integrity Task Force Meeting"
