Office 365 Home Premium with Exchange Online email accounts

I currently have a Home subscription for Office 365 which I used on three PC's/laptops and on two Macs. This is for personal use is adequate for my needs and I don't need a full office 365 subscription at £7.90 UK + Tax per user per month.

However my email is with my ISP (BT) and I want to move away from them due to connection issues and security (2013 Yahoo Hack).
I would also like to use my own domain name and have the benefit of Exchange email so that it syncs calendars etc around my own and partners devices. Microsoft offers Exchange Online for only £3.00 UK + tax which is affordable for two email accounts for myself and my wife.
My questions are:-
1) Can I use Exchange Online side by side with Office Home without account conflicts? One I sign in to using a personal email but Office 365 requires the onmicrosoft.com or domain email address sign in.

2) Is there a facility to have Alias email accounts alongside the two primary accounts e.g. if my primary accounts are firstname1.surname@familyname.com and firstname2.surname@familyname.com can i create ebay@familyname.com or paypal@familyname.com.?
I believe I read somewhere that you cannot SEND from these accounts only receive? However do received emails go into the same inbox as the Primary email or can they be downloaded separately in Outlook 2016. Failing that can you set up rules in Office 365 for emails to go in to a seperate folder. I know this can be done in Outlook.

3) Finally I read an (your?) article about Microsoft's "trial" of Outlook.com Premium. This would be absolutely ideal for my situation but I don't believe its available in the UK yet. I tried signing up but it failed at the payment stage. Have you any news on this trial and if it will be available in the UK?

1. Yes, you can.

2. Yes, with the business accounts, you can either add additional smtp address to a mailbox to receive mail (can't reply - all replies are from the default address) or you can create shared mailboxes (free). There are some other tricks you can use to receive from these addresses too - and tricks you can use to reply from the secondary addresses or use an addin. (You can also use different domains)

These addresses will be mixed in the same mailbox with other mail received by that account. if you need them separate, you can use shared mailboxes or use rules to move them as they arrive.

the custom domains available for consumer accounts are limited to one address per mailbox, one domain.

As always many thanks for your comprehensive reply.

Regarding the Outlook.com premium trial I am referring to an upgrade to the free Outlook.com email address where you can choose your own domain name and use it with up to 5 family accounts here Outlook.com Premium
Its an upgrade to the original offer ended by Microsoft a few years ago where you could use a domain name for your Hotmail account using the Live Admin Centre.
At the moment this trial only appears to be US based as when I tried it failed at the payment stage as it would not accept a UK address and zip code.
I just wondered through your contacts with Microsoft if you had any insight into the availability being opened up to other countries.

Ok... wasn't sure if it was that one or the business side. I *thought* it was going to be opened to other countries last month - will check on it.
