Hi, I hope that someone can help. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong but I have imported a few distribution lists from colleagues and want the individuals to appear in my contacts list. I can't search for a person who I know is in a list as they do not appear. Is there an easy way to do this?

You would need either the actual contacts for the members of the DL or create contacts for the members.

I have a macro to create contacts for group members here - Create Individual Contacts from a Distribution List - but these will only have the name and email address. if you need other information, ask the person to send you the individual contacts too.

This VBA sample - Add a Category to Contacts in a Contact Group (DL) - adds a category to the contacts so you can easily see who is in which group.
