I have Office 365 and have recently found that Outlook is becoming unusable. The message that Outlook is requesting data from the server hangs the entire application for minutes on end. This started a few months ago. It impacts multiple email accounts at our house and Microsoft offered no explanation or solution except to reinstall office which I have done several times. I am beginning to use the web version of outlook or the Windows app version which do not have the same problem; they both work fine. I like the desktop program and have used it for years but Microsoft is forcing me away from that program and to one of the other alternatives that works.
