Outlook changes default account

Hi

Outlook 2016 (365) with a number of different IMAP accounts (linked to Gmail) one of which is (obviously) the default.

Add a 365 Exchange account and Outlook makes it the default. You can change the default back to the required IMAP account and everything works as required but when you exit Outlook and restart, it changes the default back to the Exhange account. You can manually change it back again but that's a right pain.

Any ideas of how to stop Outlook changing the default?

Did you change both the email account and the data file or just the email account? It shouldn't be changing the default email account once it is set - with one exception: in some business settings, a logon script can set the default account. There may be some scenarios where it changes the default data file because it takes longer to load the imap data files - I'll have to test that.
