I received an email today that was a blatant attempt at defrauding me - rather like the fake UK TV Licence email that hit thousands is early May this year. So I blocked it.
My email address is not in the typical joe.bloggsAT(eg)outlook.com - to avoid spammers I changed it to a phonetic email address. So Mr Blogg' email address would now be jaybeeAToutlook.com. It works - I've gone from hundreds of spam email a month to one or two.
What bothers me is that I've just received another email today that was a blatant attempt at defrauding me.
I wanted to check the address that I'd blocked to compare the real address but I can't find it anywhere.
Does outlook.com store blocked emails/email addresses? If so, how can I find it please?
PS Diane - changing one's email address to a phonetic version really does stop spam emails (apart from these two fraud ones!) and I would strongly commend it to all the members here.
