Will any of these options work to create an alert if my boss creates an appointment on his iPhone (still linked to our exchange server) so we can make sure we add to the office diary?

Hello, Is it possible to create an email which notifies another user when a new appointment has been created on a calendar which is fully shared with them? i.e. Boss out on the road makes an appointment on phone and email sent to PA to ensure it is prepared for. Many Thanks!
