I was able to get them to appear now in the Address Book. I don't think all of the names are there, but I will sync with my iPhone later and see if that replaces any that are missing. Thanks again for the help.

Well, that did put them back into my People page. As near as I can tell, the only thing missing is my one distribution list, but that I can easily recreate. However, they are still not in my folder list on my Mail page, nor are they in the address book. That's not a big deal, as long as I can...

Hi: Sometime in 2016 my iCloud Contacts disappeared from my folder pane, as well as from the pop-up window in a new e-mail when clicking on the To field. I was still able to access it through the Address Book so I wasn't overly concerned and never found/made the time to try to figure it out...
