    Ok, it works if I installed an email certificate. I thought an email certificate is not required for sending encrypted email. Essentially, only recipient's public key is required for encryption, isn't it?

    As I said, I don't have my own certificate, so I can't install it. As far as I understand, I just need someone's certificate in order to send them encrypted message. And I already have his certificate by having him sending me a signed message.

    I have OL 2007 configured with a POP3 mail account. There is no email certificate installed on the client. I tried to send an encrypt email to a recipient who is in the OL contacts list with his certificate stored in there, but it was not successful. First of all, there was no encrypt email...
