Outlook 2007 corrupting PDF attachments

Outlook 2007 has started corrupting incoming PDF attachments, even if I don't open them. I have disabled the anti-virus software, and the problem continues. The error message on the PDFs is that the file is damaged and could not be repaired. I've run three different anti-virus, anti-spyware...
