Only option when I double click on the gmail account takes me to Data File Settings is to compact now. No option to check sync slider.

Some more information: In looking at the synchronization log, it appears that the errors being reported have already synced to Outlook. It seems that Outlook is s trying to add them again and then when it errors out it terminates any further synchronization. Hence, none of the new messages are...

There were 304 entries in the Sync Issues folder! Why this folder is not displayed automatically.....that's a question for another day. The Sync Issues (this computer) IS displayed..... Anyway, None of the entries in the folder make sense. Can you help me interpret what I'm seeing?

Diane, You miss the point. The notifications as above only happens when an appointment is synced from Outlook Home to Outlook.com. By that time it has synced to my android phone and back to my Outlook Home. The appointment was created with NO Notifications on my PC using Outlook Home.

When I create an appointment in Outlook Home I create it without a reminder. When it goes to Outlook.com a reminder is created. This reminder then syncs to my android phone and then back to my Outlook Home calendar. Reminders are turned off for Outlook Home and for Outlook.com. If I create the...
