Outlook tasks module sunsetting?

I'm hearing reports of the Outlook tasks module being completely removed in recent updates, replaced by To Do as the only option.
Is this true?
If so, is there a way to configure admin settings to keep the tasks module or at least postpone this loss?

That option doesn't appear. I'm using
Microsoft® Outlook® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2308 Build 16.0.16731.20052) 64-bit

I'm confused by your answer. My question is about configuring Exchange Admin settings to postpone any update that would remove the current tasks module.

Oh, I'm sorry. I misunderstood. There is no PowerShell to disable it on the server (yet).

This is the option to use the to-do task form - creating a task in Tasks uses Outlook's task for.
