I've been noticing lately that this Office component randomly starts taking about 25% CPU, perhaps indefinitely. I've just been ending task on it, but this problem is not one that I saw before recent weeks that I recall. Maybe it's an issue with recent builds, but it's annoying.
As for stopping it, that's unclear. I'm first trying disabling Optional Connected Experiences (in Privacy Settings) but I'm not sure that it's directly related.
I've seen this problem with only having Outlook running but I doubt that it's an Outlook-triggered issue per se.
