Spacebar when reading email

When reading email, the spacebar in Outlook versions prior to 2007 operated differently depending on how the email was formatted -- plaintext (no op), HTML (page down), or Rich Text (edited the note).




Now it's at least consistent -- it does nothing.




I'd like to be able to page through a note that I'm reading using the space bar. Maybe you don't want to do this, so maybe it's user-selectable, but it would be useful.

You must mean in an open message... it works in the Reading pane. I rarely open messages anymore so I never noticed it wasn't working.

ETA: Try the pageup and pagedown buttons.

Well, yeah, of course those work. But the paradigm users are used to from the Web is <SPACE> to page down.




And no, I don't use the Reading pane. Never liked it for some reason!
