Free/Busy lookups not working after SCR failover

Kenny

After failing over our Clustered Mailbox Server to a disaster recovery

site, free/busy lookups for users on that server are no longer

working. I turned up diagnostic logging on the Availability Service

for the CAS and what I'm seeing in event viewer are Event 4018,

MSExchange Availability. What it looks like is that the CAS cannot

find the mailbox server.

Here is what the 4018 event says:

Process 3240[w3wp.exe:/LM/W3SVC/1/ROOT/EWS-1-128978678158840614]: An

exception occurred while attempting to locate a Client Access server

to handle a request for e-mail address <Rick>SMTP:Rick@maverick.com.

The returned exception is

Microsoft.Exchange.Data.Storage.ServerNotFoundException: The server

MAIL.MCA.OFF was not found in the topology.

Anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this?

Thanks in advance.

You need a CAS in the same Active Directory site as the clustered mailbox

server.

And a hub transport server too.

There is a CAS and two Hub Transports in the site.

Where's "MAIL.MCA.OFF"? Is that the SCR server or some other server?

Is it in the same AD site as the CAS?
