automatically delete completed tasks

Our mailbox sizes are limited prompting us to 'clean out' and use the archive and personal folders features. Tasks take up mailbox space as well, particularly for those who use it often.

I have been trying to come up with an automated way of deleting these completed tasks. From what I can tell, a rule can only be created for mail items. The archive feature would work, but deletes items based on date instead of 'completed'. Any suggestions?

Instead of your users marking their tasks as complete...have them just delete the task.

Tasks don't take up a lot of space... so you could use autoarchive as long as you aren't in the habit of making tasks months in advance. Or just delete them instead of dismissing them. You could also create a view that shows completed tasks with an older last modified dated then select all and delete.
