Printing issues with Outlook 2007 SP2 and Shared Calendars

There are many Outlook clients that have Shared Calendars using Outlook 2007 SP2 in "non-cached" mode. When they select the Shared Calendar and choose "Print," it takes a while for the "Print" function to work. If they choose "Print Preview," the preview window appears almost immediately and then they can click "Print" from this window to get the job done. Does anyone know what could be causing the delay when using the "Print" option as opposed to the "Print Preview?" This only happens with the Shared Calendar...

Are all the clients using an Exchange server account?

Does this issue occur only on a specific printer or any printer?

Is the problem printer setup as a Networked printer?

Thank you for your reply. We actually discovered that the issue only occurs if a workstation has the Symantec Enterprise Vault 8.0 plug-in installed. If this component is removed, the "Print Preview" comes up immediately. We were originally told that the Symantec Enterprise Vault has nothing to do with printing which apparently is a false statement.
