Is there a way to copy a group of folders without copying the contents (emails) of the folders being copied?

I tried following that guide, but it says to click on File then Archive and I don't have an Archive option in my File menu. Any ideas?

Which mail account type are you using?

If you are in a corporate environment, it could be that this feature has been disabled by your mail admin. You can contact him/her for options to get it enabled (perhaps only for this action).

If you are using a pst-file, you can also copy this pst-file and connect it to Outlook via;
File-> Open-> Outlook Data File...
Then do an Advanced Find (CTRL+SHIFT+F) within this pst-file without any conditions so that all items are being returned. You can now easily delete all the contents folder all the folders at once by selecting the search results and then press SHIFT+DELETE.

I am in a corporate environment, but even if the administrator disabled this function, shouldn't it still show up on my File Menu as a grayed-out option?
