I have tried reinstalling product and my PC is set up to receive Security updates. I cant seem to find a fix for this issue and it is very frustrating to have to reboot every time I need to use Outlook after I have logged out of my mail.

Please help!

You have something keeping a hook into outlook data and preventing it from closing cleanly.

Go to Tools, Trust center, addins - what addins are installed? If itunes and other addins from apple are installed, disable them and see if it fixes the problem. To disable the addins, click the Go button at the bottom of the dialog and remove the check from the addins.

I am also experiencing this problem with Outlook, I am currently running Windows 7 Starter and Office 2007. I have tried the above suggesting by disabling the Apple Addins but am still not having any luck with Outlook shutting down correctly. After the main window of Outlook has closed, I still get the greyed out Outlook Icon in the task bar.

Please help!
