I am unable to access my inbox. A grey screen is displayed with this message: Unable to display the folder. The file C:\Documents and settings\?????

I am able to access sent items, drafts etc.. But not inbox and I am unable to send new messages.

Verify is the outlook.pst file still exists in the location mentioned in error.


If so, scan it with scanpst.exe for errors.


If not, restore it from backup.



BTW: Next time, use the body to specify your configuration and to clarify your request.

If you can access every folder excet the inbox, try resetting the view on the folder.

Do you sync with a smartphone or use other software that accesses Outlook data? Disable it.
