I still am showing duplicates almost every time I send an email. Tried disabling McAfee email scanning, but to no avail. I have ascertained that, indeed, the recipients are getting two copies. Thoughts, please?

You must uninstall your antivirus program. Reboot. Then do a custom reinstall without the email scanning module.

This issue may occur due to damaged emails in the server or a corrupted outlook profile.

Try the below mentioned steps:

1. Login to Web mail and move all the emails from Inbox to some other folder (e.g. Draft etc...)

2. Open Outlook and try sending a test email check if it works.

If the above step does not resolve the issue create a new Outlook profile by referring the article below, send a test email from new profile and check if the recipients get as single copy or more than one copy of email.

Hmm, that's interesting. I went to msn.com, moved my Inbox items into Draft, came back to Outlook, sent 3 emails, and no duplicates. I have no idea why that worked, but it seemed to. Thanks so much.
