Outlook inbox - views resetting

I've recently completed a migration from Exchange 2003 to 2010. Now I have a number of users complaining that their inbox sometimes appears empty. The only solution I've been able to come up with is to reset the inbox view which then displays all the messages. I've also seen this happen when simply scrolling the messages in the inbox. Any idea what's causing this and/or how to resolve this?


Is the problematic outlook running on the online mode?

Does the issue disappear permanently after running the /cleanviews switch?

Does the issue still occur when you set the mail profile on another machine that doesn"t have such behavior before? If not, please try the basic steps on the problematic machine, and then see if the issue still appears without reset the folder:

· Disable all third party add-ins on the outlook

· Disable all Non-Microsoft services in Msconfig and reboot

· Add the mail profile with a different name, and then try to reproduce issue on new profile
