I need some help folks.

I have recently created a new mail-enabled user. Our email environment consists of an Exchange 2003 Ent running on Win2K SP4. When I try to create an Outlook profile for the user, I get the error listed above. I can ping the mail server by both name and IP address. I have flushed DNS on the client machine + mail server, but to no avail. I can connect to the mailbox via OWA. The only thing that has changed recently in our environment is that we transfered some FRS roles.

Any clues?

Thanks in advance.

Have you tried to use the Exchange IP instead of FQDN ?

see if that will work .. if so , you need to check your DNS server ..

thanks

Please check if the user is not hidden from address list. Is that user the only one experiencing problems setting up Outlook?
