This is odd but it is just Outlook only publishing 2 months of Free/Busy data as that is Outlooks default.  It just seems odd that it seems to be that visable at the end of December and then just stops in January and I have never seen this before.

Outlook publishes by default do full month. For example in November Outlook will publish only availability information for November and December. When December starts Outlook will also publish entire January into Free/Busy Public Folder.

So in December you should be able to see entire January availabilty unless user whose free/busy data you are going to see haven't started his client (Outlook or OWA) in December yet.

Well this may be a bigger issue at hand.  As it has entered December and I still have some clients not showing Free/Busy for Jan 08.

I have the same issu.  I have verified that the users in question have their profiles set to publish at least two months data.  Also some are in cached mode and some are not.

I am also experiencing this issue.  The difference being that my users can't see past February.

More Info:

We recently (just moved mailboxes within last two weeks) upgraded to Exchange 2007, but our Exchange 2003 server has not been removed yet.

I have used Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007 templates for Group Policy to make users publish 12 months of free/busy time and verified this setting has been pushed out.

Personally I do not see the problem when using OWA 2007 or Outlook 2007, but when I use an Outlook 2003 client the problem exists when viewing the same user free time.  This leads me to believe that the problem has something to do with the way the client accesses the free/busy information in the public folders.

I have not yet found a solution and would be very greatful if anybody can post a solution.  If I find a solution I will, of course, do the same.

My Exchange 2003 PF server is still there and replicating to the Exchange 2007 server.

I now have a solution to my problem.  Since I have already changed my default publishing to 12 months and still not seeing past February when utilizing Free/Busy I did ran outlook /cleanfreebusy and it took care of people not being able to see the free/busy information for that user.  The problem now is to deploy this fix to about 1300 users, which I plan to do with a login script.

We are having the same problem, delegates cannot see the free busy schedule of attendees (in the meeting request) whilst trying to propose a new time for the meeting.

I have tried both switches recommended

Outlook /cleanschedplus
Outlook /cleanfreebusy

It has made no difference.

Anyw further ideas????

First move the user mail box to another storage and then run /cleanfreebusy. If issue is not resolve perform the below steps:

Download MFCMAPI
1. Download MFCMAPI, also known as MAPI Editor. http://www.microsoft.com/downloa
ds/details.aspx?FamilyID=55FDFFD7-1878-4637-9808-1E21ABB3AE37&displaylang=en
2. Launch MFCMAPI application. Click OK at the Microsoft Exchange Server MAPI
Editor window. Click Session, and select Logon and Display Store Table.
3. You will now be prompted to create a profile. Note, you must be logged in
with an account that has full rights to your Exchange server, otherwise you will
receive the following error message below when we open the temp table.
Error:
Code: MAPI_E_FAILONEPROVIDER === 0x8004011D
Function
File f:df7830extestsrcmfmapimapistorefunctions.cpp
4. Once logged in, click MDB, and select Get Mailbox Table. A new window display
opens "Server Mailbox Table" From here, you can select the server name you wish
to work with. Select default settings and click OK.
5. You will now see all mailboxes enumerated. You will need to locate the user
that whos Free/Busy is not available.
6. Once you have double clicked the mailbox, highlight Root Container.
7. In the right pane, locate PR_FREEBUSY_ENTRYIDS, right click and select
Delete Property.
8. Expand Top of Information and highlight Inbox.
9. In the right window, if there is a property name of PR_FREEBUSY_ENTRYIDS,
right click on it and choose Delete Property
10. Exit out of MAPI Editor.
11. Go to start run, Outlook.exe /cleanfreebusy on the mailbox
