We want to disable the outlook 2007 option 'Remove extra line braks in plain text messages' on all our client systems.
Can this be done using a registry setting ?
Or maybe a gpo client preference setting ?

Stephan

To know more on this, you can refer the KB: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/287816

In Outlook 2003, it's:

PART "Automatically clean up plain text messages" CHECKBOX
KEYNAME Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Options\Mail
VALUENAME AutoFormatPlainText
VALUEON NUMERIC 1
VALUEOFF NUMERIC 0

Oops, i haven't tried with Outlook 2007.

Hi DeVa,

This setting also works on Outlook 2007.

Thanks,

Stephan

BTW there is no info about this registry entry on the kb link you specified ?
