Fazal Muhammad Khan_
I have got 2 forests. One running Exchange 2003 and other running Exchange 2010.
Forest1email@example.com (Primary Smtp) firstname.lastname@example.org
Forest2email@example.com (Primary SMTP) firstname.lastname@example.org
Before the user is Moved from Forest 1 to Forest B. I export its properties and than Move the user using ADMT and create a Mail-User for it in Exchange 2010. Than I use Prepare Move Request and Move-mailbox
The problem Which I am facing at the Moment is When the user is moved from Forest 1 to Forest2. and the Moved user Sends an email to a user which is still in forest1. The mail is delivered just fine. The problem arsises when that user in Forest1 replies to the Email. in Forest1 it issues an NDR. As both the Exchange servers share a namespace aftr migration so amim.com is an Accepted domain in Exchange 2010 and Also in Exchange 2003 connector.
How can I over come this problem that when a user is moved and it sends an email to a user in forest1 and the User Replies to that Email the Email address populated over there shouldnot be @amim.com but it should be @exchange 2010.com
