I downloaded the calendar printing assistant, but when I try to insltall it, I get msg to close Outlook (which is closed) and the install hangs up. Usig Win 7 and Office Prof 2010 (32 bit)

How can I get it to install? I was using it with Vista and Outlook 2007 and really need the program back. I also checked the Installed programs and there is not the previous Printing Assistant listed.

Thanks for the link. I re-downloaded it and then made sure Outlook was unpinned from the task bar. I shut the computer off and when I rebooted, the first thing I did was to install the program and I didn't get all the error messges. It installed as a separate program and not as an add-in to Outlook.

Thanks again.

Pinning wouldn't make a difference, but it sounds like something is keeping outlook running after its closed. This is usually caused by an addin or program that accesses outlook data.

In any event, glad it finally worked for you.
