Hello,

I'm using Outlook 2007.

I do not like the Deleted Items folder sitting on top of my tree but I do not think there is a way to re-arrange things....

But would there be a way to set it so that all messages sent to this folder are automatically marked "read" ? Because on top of it all and with a bolded number in front of it, it's even worse !!!! :(

Thanks for any help you can give me :D it will be appreciated.

No to both questions... if you use the favorites folders you can 'hide' the folders you don't use. And you can set the Deleted folder to show total count, not unreads (which is not much better). [right click on the folder and choose properties, then set wether to show the total count or unreads]

My recommendation - learn to ignore the boldness on that folder and set autoachive to delete messages from the deleted items and junk folder every day or so (this is better than using empty deleted on exit). See http://www.slipstick.com/tutorials/auto/archive.htm
