Hello Everyone,

We are running Exchange 2010 and have recently come across this problem:

http://i55.tinypic.com/nytto8.jpg

We originally ran this command:

Get-MailboxDatabase -identity “[mailbox database name]” | Add-ADPermission -user [username] -AccessRights GenericAll

And now when we try to remove the full access permissions from any Mailbox it gives us this error message but actually DOES remove the permissions. So the process does complete even though it gives us this warning message. Has anyone experienced this error before or does anyone know what we can do to get rid of it?

Thanks

Hi,

Have you tried Adsiedit.msc? You should get it done from there.

Please run the cmdlet below to check the value under the “Deny” column. If it"s “True” for the user who you try to remove, You must specify "-deny" in the remove command to remove a Deny ACE, otherwise, it"s looking for an Allow ACE to remove, and then the same error will appear

Get-MailboxPermission UserName
