I have Microsoft Office 2010 Professional Academic installed my laptop and I'm having a problem sending emails for work. If I send an email to a colleague it generally sends fine however the problem arises when I send an email to another business domain. In such cases the email will often send fine, however give it a few seconds and Outlook will freeze for up to 30 second to a minute every time. If I do nothing eventually it will unfreeze itself but if I click something Outlook will appear to crash and one of those annoying error messages will pop up asking if I want to close outlook, restart or wait and see what happens. When you depend heavily on email to do your job this can be very annoying and inefficient.
The problem most likely started when I installed Microsoft CRM on a previous version of Office (2010 beta). Sometimes updating CRM causes similar issues with freezing, so I thought by upgrading to the full version of Office that would solve the problem but it definitely hasn't. I know very little about tech stuff so I wont bother to speculate but I notice Office takes at least 1 to 2 minutes to load from start up and this is also very tedious. What do you think the problem is and how do I solve it?
