I have been running microsoft exchange 2007. One of the computers in my network is not allowing me to send emails from just one email address all the other emails send and receive with any problems. This is the error that I continue to get on the computer.

Task ' my email address- Sending' reported error (0x80070057) : 'Could not complete the operation. One or more parameter values are not valid.'

Either the email address entered is incorrect or if it is added from contacts then it may be corrupt.

Verify if the email address entered is correct. If it is, then the contact added may be corrupt. You need to delete the contact to recreate it.

If you are adding the contact from the autocomplete list, then delete the entry. To delete the autocomplete entry, hold the CTRL button in the keyboard and highlight the entry and click Delete.

Now try to send the email and check if it helps.

Thank you for your response. I would like to add a little more information that may help in your assistance for my issue. This email account does receive emails from inside and out side of the network. The problem comes when sending out emails from this particular account. If an email is sent to only one individual email address there is not a problem. If the email is sent from a distribution list then this error message appears:

Task ' my email address- Sending' reported error (0x80070057) : 'Could not complete the operation. One or more parameter values are not valid.'

I have used this distribution list before and it has not given me any problems. I looked at the email addresses to see if something has inadvertently deleted or added and all the emails look to be correct.

Thank you
