Yesterday I installed the rollup1 of exchange 2010 sp1.

Now I have problems with OWA 2010.

After the OWA-Login I receive the following error messages:

The english translation would be:

OutlookWebApp could not be initialised. No base design was found. The base design should be located in a directory named "base".

On the exchange server the eventids are 26 and 116. The event source is 'MSExchange OWA'.

Kind regards,

Martin

Please confirm that the custom theme you are using ('violet') is present at the location mentioned;

C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V14\ClientAccess\owa\14.1.255.0\themes\violet

Could be that the theme is in 'another' themes location like;

C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V14\ClientAccess\owa\<previous version>\themes\violet

You can simply copy the theme to the correct location.

Furthermore, check if the correct permissions are set on the theme's folder.

When you ran SP1 RU1 originally, did you run it as an elevated account?

I ran it as part of windows update. I'm not sure if this means that it runs as an elevated account.
