Customize accounts (folderlist) in navigation pane

I have two accounts in the navigation pane: a POP and an Imap. The POP (Personal folder) is on top of the list. I want to customize these as such that the second account (IMAP) wil be positioned on top of the list and the personal folder second.

I've been digging the web for two days and didn't find any answer. Not sure if it's possible at all.

The folder list is in alphabetical order following the default message store or account on top. Normally its one and the same, but IMAP past can't be default, so the local pst should be on top. You can try changing the pst display names so the personal folder comes after the imap alphabetically but I'm pretty sure imap will stay below the local pst. (right click on top level folder in navigation pane, choose properties, then advanced and type a new display name)

For some reason my reply disappeared. Try again...

You're right.

I changed name of Personal Folders to the accountname (e.g. z-accountname) and it didn't change the sequence in alphabetical order. Default account (POP3) remains on top. Reason to switch both accounts was that the folderlist of the "old" POP account pushes the new account - used for non personal mails - (half) off the pane. I prefer to see the both (new account and folderlist).

Are you using the Mail navigation pane? Add your most used folders to the favorites list so you don't need to use the folder list. You can arrange the folders in the order you prefer.

Yeap I do.

Before, my two pop accounts shared same inbox and a bunch of folders were used to organize my e-mails. It's easy archiving. My business account changed using Imap, as such that my smartphone (BB) could receive e-mails when i was out in the field. However I left my folders in the list of the "left over" pop account, so that I still can use my folder structure. Old fashioned, but it works very easy (Gmail server maintains a copy as well).

Will copy most used folders to favourite and collapse the pop account.

Thanks for your help
