outlook view control (outlook 2010 64 bit) in internet explorer (32bit mode)

hi there,

under win7x64 (office 2010 64 bit) we have the following problem:

the outlook view control is only displayed when using iexplore in 64bit mode to access our intranetsite, but not when using iexplore-32bit-mode (which is required because so many other activex and .net controls here need it).

is there a possibility to achieve this, or is the only option to maybe use office-32bit???

thanks alot for your help!

You need to use 32-bit Office - you can't mix 32 and 64-bit versions of office so the OVC is 64bit. It won't run in 32-bit IE.

hmmm... ok then... thanks for your input.

funny/unfunny thing though:

the calendar view of the outlook view control doesn't work... up till now

<OBJECT id=ViewCtl1 classid=CLSID:0006F063-0000-0000-C000-000000000046 codebase="http://activex.microsoft.com/activex/controls/office/outlctlx.cab" width="100%" height="100%" style="display: " VIEWASTEXT>
<PARAM NAME="Folder" VALUE="Calendar">

</OBJECT>

worked just fine, but now it just hangs and doesn't display anything...

if i add a View param like
<PARAM name="View" value="Day">

it always displays the users inbox... what's wrong with this?
