Error message received saying mailbox has exceeded size limit on Office Professional Academic 2010.

THIS IS WHAT I AM RECEIVING

A message was sent to you that was returned to the sender(bounced) because it would have caused your mailbox quota to be exceeded.

The following is the reason that the message was over quota:
Quota Type: bytes in the mailbox
Quota Available: 0
Total Quota: 20480000

The following is the information on the message that was bounced:
Sender: " BuyDig.com" <news@email.buydig.com>
Subject: 11% off cases, Kodak products and more savings from Buydig.com
Size: 12225

The message was bounced from the following folder:
INBOX

To fix this problem, delete some messages from your mailbox, and contact the sender to resend the message.

If the size of the message is too big, contact the sender to reduce the size of the message and resend the message.

This is the mailbox on the mail SERVER, not in Outlook. Have you set Outlook to keep a copy of emails on the server perhaps?

You need to do two things: log on to webmail and delete some un-needed emails, then go into Outlook and set your mail server (in Advanced settings) to delete emails after a certain time. Otherwise you will getr this message fairly frequently...
