Thanks for the reply. The error messages keeps comming since i have brough the new laptop(thinkPad -Lenovo).

I have been running the outlook in safe mode - no use. the error message pops up less frequent in when outlook is started in safe mode.

The error message pops up only opening certain mail other wise works fine (on an average about 20 time a day the outlook shuts down).

Have you installed all service packs and updates already for both Windows and Office?

When it crash on a certain message, does it then always crash on that message? In that case, you might want to find out what makes that message different from the others (for instance, a certain font type is used or it contains a specific graphic).

Which add-ins do you have installed? Check both for COM Add-ins and in the Add-in Manager.
