Mouse freezing in Outlook 2003 after installing Adobe Acrobat Professional 2009

Operating System: Windows XP

My boss is using Outlook 2003, he installed Adobe Professional 2009 and now he cannot edit anything in his emails and you cannot get the mouse to move down from the address bar into the main message section, also cannot forward mail as the mouse pointer will not move to be able to select addresses.

Can anyone help please.

Can you repro this issue in Outlook Safe Mode?
Start-> Run; outlook.exe /safe
(note the space in the command)

If it works now, your issue is most likely caused by the Adobe add-in. Disable it and see if the issue still occurs. For details see;
