Error: 8004102A - Unable to delete emails properly

I have just purchased Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010, and installed it on my laptop. I went through the installation process as instructed. My problem occurs when I try to sync Microsoft Outlook. I am sending and recieving emails from Hotmail to Outlook as normal, but when I delete/read emails in Outlook, it doesn't register that I have done so and will redownload them them when I next sync to Outlook.

I'm getting the error message 8004102A, even though i have removed and reactivated Outlook Connector. Help, please!
