Changing E-Mail Address Default

Not open for further replies.

I have Outlook 2007. I recently added a second email address to Outlook and set it as my default sending email account. When I create a new email, it properly sends from my new default email address. However, when I reply to an email, it sends from my old email address. I obviously have the option in the account box to select either email address; however, I want it to be automatic. Thanks for the help!

Replies do not abide by your settings. They go out over the account on which they were received, as they should.Russ Valentine

Set the specific email account as default to make it a default email account to send emails automatically.

1. Open outlook

2. Click on tools>account settings>email accounts

3. Select the email account and set that as default.
