1.) Create a new meeting request and add some attendees

2.) Minimise the meeting request and go do something else for a few minutes

3.) Come back to Outlook, the meeting request has now been moved to the drafts folder.

4.) Open the meeting request and send the meeting request.

5.) It sends but there is still an unread meeting request left in the drafts folder, why and what should I do with this meeting request, I can replicate the same thing with outlook 2007 as well. Is this by design?

Any comments much appreciated!

Thanks

Hi,

1. The error may be related to your TCP/IP stack, try removing and re-installing the protocol.

2. The error may be caused by a version conflict between Internet Explorer and Office. Upgrade IE to at least 8.0 to see if this resolves it.

3. The error may be caused by an authentication issue for the SMTP server.

Check server settings to see if authentication is enabled for sending messages and if so properly configured in Outlook account settings, or, if authentication must be first done through receiving a message.

Sincerely,

Harry
