Hi,

You may ask the administrators if there is a group policy applied. Typically policies are in
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft.

To change between RTF and plain text and HTML you may need to change to the available format then change again. Ie, you change from RTF to plain text, then from plain text to HTML.

If no policies applied, check if your Word program is installed. What's the version? You need to use the same version of Outlook and Word in order to use Word as the email editor in Outlook.

Thanks Sally,

There is no policy applied for the default editor I checked.

Also this is office suite 2003 so there is no version conflict.

Also in registry I have checked the outlook mail format key also i manually changed it but that is not affecting.

Any suggestion please!!!
