SSO to OWA from site using Integrated Authentication

Currently we use Integrated Authentication on our website. Once logged on, there's a link to OWA (2003) " https://www.mycompany.com/exchange/mappoc" , which is installed on the same server. When our users click the link, their credentials are automatically passed and their OWA opens.

We're moving to Exchange 2010 and OWA will now be on a separate server. What's the best way to accomplish the same SSO effect? We are not using ISA. I've enabled IA on the OWA (2010) virtual directory, but that clearly wasn't enough. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Does it work if you make sure the domain *.mycompany.com or the mail server new name is added to Internet Explorer's intranet zone?

Hi Mark,
Do you mean that you want to the achieve the OWA SSO when the exchange 2003 and excahnge 2010 coexistence scenario?
Per my known, if you want to have the user experience the smoothest transfer from the exchange 2010 server logon page to the excahnge 2003 mailboxes using Single Sign On, you must have Forms Based Authentication enabled on the exchange 2003 Front End server . If you do not have FBA enabled there, see the detailed instructions on how to configure FBA in an exchange 2003 environment see tne article:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb123832.aspx .
Regards!

'How did you do it? Did you use Set-OwaVirtualDirectory <identity> -WindowsAuthentication $True or did you try to do it manually through IIS? You'll also need that URL to be part of the browser's Local Intranet security zone so pass-through auth will work.Microsoft Premier Field Engineer, Exchange

Is it possible on this issue to enable the end user to simply go to the url for OWA on your CAS server and get SSO no matter whether their mailbox is on 2003 or 2010 in a coexist environment?
