Getting a number of SCOM alerts. i am sure they mean something but there is not much inforation in terms of how to go about resolving the issue as below:

Alert: The database copy isn't replaying log files fast enough for the last two hours to keep up or catch up with the changes being made to the active database copy.

Source: Database Copy Replay (COMMCR) - OEBEXC12 (Mailbox) - Default-First-Site-Name

Path: OEBEXC12.oeb.gov.on.ca;OEBEXC12 (Mailbox) - Default-First-Site-Name Last modified by: NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM Last modified time: 11/16/2010 1:28:43 PM Alert description: TimeSampled: 2010-11-16T12:45:49.0000000-05:00

ObjectName: MSExchange Replication

CounterName: Log Replay is Not Keeping Up

InstanceName: commcr

Value: 6

SampleValue: 1

Anyone has any idea what it means and how to resolve the issue if at all?

How do things look when running get-mailboxdatabasecopystatus and test-replicationhealth?

Anything in the event logs?

ExBpa show anything?

Any other SCOM alerts for those servers?

Hi Andy:

I sincerely appreciate you taking interst in this. I am new to Exchange 2010 and have very limited knowledge on this. In our envidonment we still have Exchange 2003 server that is being used to relay mesages due to the public MXrecord tied to it which soon will have to be changed. We had a DAG failure last Friday and since have recovered out of that but now these alerts are going on since than.

I tried the commands that you wanted input on and they executed fine as below:

get-mailboxdatabasecopystatus shows all healthy and mounted

test-replicationhealth fails on DBlogReplayKeepingUp

I have two other SCOM alerts as below that may also be related or may reveal some more insight in to what is causing this:

1st Alert:

Alert: TCP Connectivity with Autodiscover - Unexpected Exception
