Legacy SCHEDULE + FREE BUSY system PFs leftover after complete migration

I just completed a very long migration from ex2003 to ex2010, and now would like to address something that's been nagging me for years. I originally took over management of our company's email system when we were on ex5.5 (around Y2K) and have overseen upgrades to ex2000 and ex2003 (and now ex2010).

In my System Public folders ever since the migration from 5.5 to ex2000 I have noticed some 'sites' listed that refer to sites that were decommissioned when we were still on ex5.5. Questions -

- Are these hurting anything

- can I delete them, because I'm tired of looking at them after 9+ years

GUI delete is impossible as I get a permissions error - so basically question 2 I guess I'm asking if anyone can point me to a correct location in adsiedit for a deletion/removal of these very old dust bunnies.

thanks in advance.

If you didn't use the Public Folder to support the Free/Busy, you can delete it. To delete it, you can use MFCMAPI Edit tool:

Configure the Administrator Outlook profile on the client computer, then download MFCMAPI tool, double click it and click Session, select Logon and Display Store Table, the Administrator profile is displayed, click OK button, locate Public Folders and double click it, expand Public Root, expand NON_IPM_SUBTEE, you can find the entry and delete according to the requirements.
