Hi,

I'm learning about the new features of Outlook 2010. One new feature is linking mulitple exchange accounts in one profile. http://garvis.ca/blogs/mitch/archive/2010/02/03/connecting-to-multiple-exchange-servers-within-microsoft-office-outlook-2010.aspx

I was wondering if this will work if you have the following scenerio:

User1 in domainA

User1's computer, MachineA, is joined to domainA

No trusts between domainA and DomainB

User1 has an Exchange email account in both domainA and domainB

User1 has an Outlook 2010 profile - he wanted to be able to connected to both of his exchange accounts.

I guess the real question is, can I connect to exchange mailbox from a remote domain when no trusts exists (but I do have an AD account and mailbox in the remote domain which I know the domain name, user name, and password - I can map network drives into this domain)

Update: Just tested this and this scenerio works fine... you can have multiple email accounts in remote domain Exchange servers in Outlook 2010. The only two things you need is 1) network connectivity\resolution 2) A known user name and password of the remote domain.
