Exchange 2010: attachments are not visible in outlook, but visible in OWA

We are back from where we began. Messages from two domains (mail.ru and sometimes gmail.com) are coming with attachments invisible through outlook, but visible through OWA. Problem is unstable, i tried to reproduce it myself (i have mailboxes on that mail services), but didn't manage to. When i first stumbled upon it, the advice from this topic helped out, but not for long time. I formed the transport rule that changes Content-Type from multipart/related to multipart/mixed, but now it's not working: messages come with invisible attachments even with 'multipart/mixed' kludge set.

Any ideas ?

Hi Tigger4,

For this issue, I want to clarify the following information before we go further:

1. Do you check the emails (cannot see attachments in Outlook) from which domain, Do they from the same domain?

2. What"s the version of your Outlook?

3. Before you change the Content-Type, can other people (in your domain)see the attachments in their Outlook?

4. You can use pipeline tracing to confirm the problem(please use a sender address which can reproduce the problem).

Here is a related article for you:

Enable Pipeline Tracing

Thanks,

Evan
